About AzureStar Press
|
The major problem with publishing non-traditionally is that there is endless information and recommendations out there, and information is unclear at best. When I decided to found AzureStar, it was because I wanted to create a publishing company based on the process I know to have worked for my own success. I found joy in meeting with and supporting first-time authors who were overwhelmed by all the options out there.
Problems arise in all sorts of areas in the publishing world. Traditional publishing is difficult to do, and finding someone who will even look at your manuscript is a feat in and of itself. Hybrid-publishing (or vanity publishing) often requires high payment for publishing a manuscript, but then does not support the author in much – if any – marketing endeavors. AzureStar press’s goal is to support authors in every part of the process with multi-faceted supports, including writing, editing, designing, publishing, and marketing their books. Who can benefit from working with AzureStar Press? 1. Authors who would like to self-publish or independently publish but would like support. 2. Authors who are looking to expand their knowledge in their field. 3. Authors who are looking for manuscript developmental or proofreading edits. 4. Authors who would like cover work, graphic designs, or character arts created for their books. 5. Authors who would like the full-service of mentoring through the entire publishing process, including being published under the AzureStar publishing imprint. About the Founder Breyanna I.L. Evans has been writing, editing, and publishing her works in multiple genres since 2017. She consistently attends professional development events to expand her knowledge across all areas of the writing and publishing worlds. She obtained her degree in creative writing and then taught English with an emphasis on writing and editing for years. She has experience in writing, editing, graphic and cover design, and marketing. As an author, Breyanna is passionate about supporting other authors in their journey. AzureStar Press Current Standing At this time, AzureStar is a remotely run business and is only taking a select number of clients, though ALL authors are welcome to reach out with questions or to request support. AzureStar is designed with the author’s interests at heart. Whatever the author’s goals are (whether they would like an editor, a designer, mentoring or support, or to publish through the AzureStar imprint), AzureStar wants to help. |
