Warning: This weekend's post is going to be cheesy, sappy, and altogether sincere. I think we all get stuck in the day-to-day tasks, just trying to survive the chaos of life. As we get older, was we have responsibilities stack up and more restraints are placed on our time, it can feel impossible to chase after the things you want in life. Yes, having a nice place to live, a good car, a great school for the kiddos... those are all important dreams to work for. But what I'm talking about today is more for you. Even when people say offhanded comments that they may not have intended to upset you, when those comments are aimed at your passion, they can sting, making the efforts you put in feel silly and worthless. Here are some things that people have said to me - I think unintentionally - that were hard for me to shake:
So how about we stop putting each other's dreams down and start taking each other seriously? Now that you've read this far... I have two requests.
